Q What Types of Files Do You Accept (Drawings)?

We can accept the following files:
STP, IGS, DXF, DWG, Cad Key PPT, STL, X_T, CATIA, UG files, etc.

Q What Kind of Steel Do You Use For Plastic Mouldings?

We can use any type of steel appointed by a customer or popular in the market.
Such as P20, 718, 8407, NAK80, H13, S136, DIN 1.2738, DIN 1.2344, etc.

Q Can You Provide the Steel Certificate and Heat-treatment Certificate?

Yes, We can provide steel certificate or heat treatment certificate for every export mold.

Q Can You Make the Texture / Text / Heat-treatment /Nitriding for the Injection Mold?

Yes, As plastic mold factory, we have long-term cooperated subsidiary suppliers that do those processes.

Q How Long is the Lead-time for a Plastic Injection Mold?

It all depends on the mold’s size and complexity. Normally, the lead time is 25—45days.

Q Do You Make Samples or Run a Pilot for Your Customer?

Yes, we will run samples or pilot for the mold if needed

Q How Many Injection Plastic Mouldings Machines Do You Have?

We have 20 sets of injection molding machines.

Q What is The Minimum & Maximum Unit Weight and Size Your Machines Can Produce?

Our machines produce the unit parts from 1 gram to 6000 grams weight.
Our machines can produce the maximum size of the unit plastic part: 1.5*1.5*1.5 meters.

Q What Kind of Plastic Materials You Usually Use?

We are specialized in producing plastic products with the following materials:
PP, ABS, PC, POM, PA, HDPE, HIPE, PS, AS, PBT, PET, PMMA, PVC and so on.

How to choose resin materials for plastic product?

Q Can You Deliver the Plastic Moulds or Plastic Products to Our Factory?

Yes, we have a special agent in Hong Kong, they will handle all shipping (Air, Sea, and Express) for us, it is much cheaper than shipping direct from Shenzhen. We also accept FOB Shenzhen if needed.

Q What is core and cavity for mold?

The plastic injection mold is composed of a cavity and a core. The cavity is a concave plate. The core is a convex plate. but now some mold cavity shape is very complicated, we can't identity cavity and core side, Normally cavity is fixed side and the core is moveable side with ejector pins.

Q  What is parting line(or parting surface) for mold?

Designed for the removal of the plastic product and the runner, the parting line (surface) is where the core meets the cavity, and usually locates at the largest section of a product.

How to design the parting line or parting surface?

Q  What is ejector pin?

The commonly used methods for ejection of plastic products include ejector pin, ejector sleeve, ejector blade and stripper plate. Since ejector sleeve and ejector blade are higher in price (8 to 9 times more expensive than ejector pin) and stripper plate is used for the ejection of thin barrel-shaped plastic products, the most commonly used is the ejector pin.

Q  What is the cooling for mold?

The cooling system is also known as the mold temperature adjusting system.Importance to adjust the mold temperature: Mold temperature plays an important role in determining the quality and molding cycle of a plastic product.

Q What is the lifter for mold?

The lifter is mainly used to form the internal undercuts of a molded plastic part, and at the same time it also offers ejection function. The mechanism features a simple structure but poor rigidity and a short travel distance.

Q What is the slider for mold?

Due to the special requirements of a product, the mold release direction of a particular part may not be consistent with the mold opening direction of the injection molding machine (product undercut), the slider is a mold mechanism that is developed to solve the issues with the undercut. The basic principle is to turn the vertical movement of mold opening / closing into a horizontal motion.

Q   How much does a  mold cost?

The factors that determine the price you pay for a mold are a combination of several elements, including part dimensions, complexity, selected materials and required quantities.it ranges from 1000-50'000 USD or even more.
